     CGP, a unique partnership between SUNY Oneonta and the New York State Historical Association, offers a two-year course of study leading to a Master of Arts degree in History Museum Studies. Museums “provide places of respite, learning, entertainment, and dialogue for their communities.  In addition they help their neighbors grapple with such complex issues as global warming, race and religion, energy extraction, and voting rights,” Sorin says. “We are so proud that SUNY Oneonta has sponsored the nation’s premier graduate program in museum studies since 1964.”<br />
