SUNY Oneonta students Mark Crosby and Bee Boland demonstrate and test two humanoid NAO robots nicknamed “Ricky” and “Bellatrix” that they have programmed to speak and dance. The students, both computer science majors and seniors, are doing an independent study with Associate Professor of Computer Science Jim Ryder, studying how the robot could be used with autistic children to help them learn to communicate.<br />
